How does QualiKorn deployment work?
Deployment follows an iterative 4-phase approach: diagnostic of your existing quality processes (1-2 weeks), design and prototyping with your teams (2-3 weeks), development and configuration (4-10 weeks), then go-live, training and ongoing support. QualiKorn can be deployed on-premise or in the cloud depending on your security requirements.
Can we migrate data from our legacy system (Excel, Access, other software)?
Yes. We develop a dedicated migration pipeline that extracts, cleans and transforms your historical data into the QualiKorn database. We have already successfully migrated over 10 years of data from an Excel VBA file, with record-by-record integrity verification.
Does QualiKorn cover all IFS and BRC requirements?
QualiKorn covers the chapters related to quality control, traceability and non-conformance management in the IFS Food (v7 and v8) and BRC Global Standard frameworks. Exports are formatted to directly meet auditor expectations. The exact scope is tailored to your context during the diagnostic phase.
Is the application usable on tablet and smartphone?
Yes. QualiKorn is a responsive web application, designed for use on tablet on the shop floor (including with gloves), on PC in the laboratory and on smartphone for quick validations. No installation required — a web browser is all you need.
Who owns the data?
You retain 100% ownership of your data. With on-premise deployment, data never leaves your infrastructure. In cloud mode, your data is hosted on European servers (France) and you can export it at any time in standard formats (CSV, Excel, PDF).
